Lego Club is something our P3 pupils do each week in The Hive. In Lego Club we take turns doing different jobs. We have the engineer who reads the plans and describes the pieces, the supplier who gathers the pieces and the builder’s job is to place the bricks correctly.
We talk about how to sort the pieces and how to name them. We describe pieces by colour, shape and the number of studs they have. Sometimes we think of funny ways to describe the pieces - “the piece you need looks like a slice of pizza” was one of our favourite descriptions.
So far we have completed one build - an icy scene with a snowmobile and seals. Look at our pictures to see which cuddly friend helped with this! We have just started our next build - a huge Minecraft panda house.
