Our new topic this term is Scrumdiddlyumptious where we will look at the various food groups and the foods that belong to each. We will talk about healthy and unhealthy foods and how we can look after our bodies. There will be lots of opportunities to taste and feel new foods using our senses ☺️
Linking to Literacy, we will write instructions to create recipes and tasty treats.
In Numeracy, we will create class tally charts and block graphs on our favourite foods.
We will also be learning about how we can keep our teeth healthy.
Lots to look forward to!
❓❓ To introduce our new topic this term, we had to use our senses to feel inside the mystery boxes! We had to use our sense of touch to feel inside the box and guess what was inside. We used descriptive words and made sensible guesses - we got 2 out of 3 correct!
